Hello, and thank you for visiting my website! My love of photography began with reading National GeographicⓇ Magazine as a kid, with its vivid visual captures telling a story without the need for words. Growing up in a country different from my heritage, and now living in the US, has fostered a deep love of travel and multicultural traditions. My husband and I enjoy applying our travel experiences to our cooking and other aspects of daily life. I try to capture these moments best as I can. People’s relationships with cooking, their connection to ingredients, and the process from start to finish are particularly close to my heart. Many of the food photos you will see are of dishes made or inspired by family. My husband in particular is a stellar sourdough baker and it’s been exciting following his journey.
I shoot with both a standard DSLR and a mirrorless system. My favorite lens is in the 23-24mm range, which I've found works well for a variety of subjects and is convenient to travel with. Every now and then I'll switch to a macro lens for certain shots. I hope my photos bring you curiosity, comfort, and joy.
